Hi,
Sorry for the unforgivably slow response to your comments about the Farnborough sighting..we do apologise but we have had a few problems accessing these boards;
That is good news there are more witnesses to what happened.
Recently we have recorded other strange phenomena, not only here but towards Guildford as well...even on one of the nights when all planes were grounded due to the volcanic ash problem! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW6qeIBss4M&feature=email
That was over the Surrey Heath.
We are interested in all sightings around this area and a picture is gradually building.
Please keep us informed if you see anything else strange.
Our BEAMS reports page is here http://www.beamsinvestigations.org.uk/ufo-reports.html
if you want to have a browse through...and we have an archives section as well.

Thanks once again
All the best
Ken and Hilary
I cannot believe someone saw this too!
I was driving home from work at 10pm and saw exactly what you described. It creeped me out, im lucky i didnt have a car accident. I live on southwood and i saw these two balls of light going away from the airport and my first thought was they looked like balls of fire but the way they disappeared was unbelievable impossible to describe.
Hubby convinced it was some sort of army testing thing. Im not so sure!

Hi , on the night of Sunday 23 August 2009, at around 9, ,clock, I looked up from my garden in Aldershot, and saw 2 lights, just plain white, travelling a long way up in the sky, uniformly, as they headed towards the farnborough airfield area, they decended, the lights went out, and silhouetted against the brighter sky, I watched through binococulars, what I can only describe as large black mishapen balls.
A minute later from exactly the same direction came an orange light, which travelled and descended, with the light fading out, in roughly the same area, this too was the same shape.

    Hi #2Terry,
Sorry for the delay in answering your enquiry.
There are many strange objects we have observed over the Farnborough area, from single objects, (with no navigation lights or noise coming from the unidentified), to formations of orbs, ranging in colour from white, red, and orange..(these are not Chinese lanterns either, because studied through binoculars we watched as some of these objects broke formation and powered away at high speed), to structured triangles and the light you have witnessed near the Fleet pond sounds interesting as well.
What on earth are these objects? you might wonder...well no one is quite sure, (although we could hazard-a-guess, and a well educated one at that, if you like...just ask in your reply)...but they are real, and not anything made by man that's for sure, as now even the MoD have admitted as much in a little known Executive Summary...and in their own flowery language, they are more or less acknowleding the high-strangeness, the intelligence and agility displayed by the unidentifieds.
And we quote; Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) in the UK Air Defence Region

The Ministry of Defence has released this report in response to a Freedom of Information request and we are pleased to now make it available to a wider audience via the MOD Freedom of Information Publication Scheme. Where indicated information is withheld in accordance with Section 26 (Defence), Section 27 (International Relations) and Section 40 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/FreedomO...tiveSummary.htm

That Unidentified Arial Phenomenon (UAP or UFO) Exist is indisputable. Credited with the ability to hover, land, take off, accelerate to astonishing velocities and vanish. They can reportedly alter their direction of flight suddenly and clearly can exhibit acrodynamic characteristics well beyond those of any known aircraft or missle - either manned or unmanned.

The Conditions for the initial formation and sustaining what apparently bouyant charged masses, which can form, seperate, merge, hover, climp, dive, and accelerate are not completly understood.

Dependant on a colour's temperature and aerosol density, it may be seen visually, either by it self generated plasma color, by reflected light, or silhouette by light blockage and background contrast.

Occationally and perhaps exeptionally, it seems a field with, undetermined characteristics can exist between certain charged bouyant objects in loose formation, the intervening space between them forms an area, viewed as a shape, often Triangular, from which the reflection of light does not occur. This is a key finding in the attribution of what have frequently black "Craft", often triangular and up to hundreds of feet in length.
- The UK Ministry of Defence
This is it, what more proof does anyones need? UFO's are REAL says MoD. we have the footage on our site (under 'Reports', click the saucer icon there...and check out our 'Archives' as well), to back them up...come look at beamsinvestigations.org.uk
Hope this helps
Ken and Hilary
