Bilingual newspaper out

After the success of last year's bilingual Nepali-English newspaper, the first edition of our new weekly newspaper, the News & Mail, has repeated the trick.

This week we have bilingual news again, with English and Nepali versions side by side, on page six of the News & Mail.

An introduction

This blog is by and about Nepalese people in this area - by far the largest ethnic minority group in the north-east part of Hampshire.

There are an estimated 7,000 Nepalese people living here, mainly, but not exclusively, former Gurkhas and their families.
